Bio

"I both listen to and play many types of music, from pop, rock, soul and R&B to more acoustic music that does not require more than a guitar, but has developed a great love for jazz and its abysmal source of knowledge. My favorite guitar hero is Pat Metheny, but even though he clearly tops the list, it's long. Mike Stern, Amanda Ginsburg, Väsen, John Mayer, Anderson .Paak and Giveon are just some of the names of my endless inspirers.

My musical exploration started at the age of eight when I decided to play bass. A few years later, I started clinking more and more on my mother's old guitar and suddenly there seemed to be no turning back. That interest led to a high school education at The Lundellska School "Skrapan" and The Skrapan Music Classes, where many doors were opened.

Among other things, I have on two occasions played with the fantastic Trio X as a young guest soloist at Uppsala Youth Jazz & Blues Fest, and met many artists and musicians who have become key people of my musical journey. Including Mekaella Baronia and Cecilia Ström, who since 2020 with me have the music group Baroña.

In 2020, I had the great honor of receiving The Ulf Johansson Werre Music Scholarship in connection with my high school graduation from The Lundellska School "Skrapan" and The Skrapan Music Classes."
